SERVICE AT 11 AM
The Resurrection Power by Pr. Hazel Marroquin
Join us this Sabbath, as Pastor Hazel continues the sermon series "Jesus... For Times Like These". This week's sermon title is: "The Resurrection Power. (John 11:24-26).
Throughout history, the idea of resurrection has been understood in diverse ways across various cultures and religions. In our lives, there are aspects that may be yearning for a resurrection or revival—such as our marriages, families, finances, health, and faith.
John 11:24-26, our scripture for Saturday highlights the belief in Jesus as the embodiment of eternal life. The miraculous resurrection of Lazarus stands as a profound symbol of our own spiritual renewal. Jesus, who also rose from the dead, is the source of life itself. He beckons us to emerge from the shadows of sin and death, inviting us to embrace the light of His truth and love.
Our Praise Team this week is led by Erica Cruz.
There will be a fellowship lunch outdoors after service, please join us.

In addition to the main sanctuary, we have a special rooms that families with young children and youth are welcome to use to watch the service in comfort.

Why Do We Meet on Saturday?
Saturday or the Sabbath is a day of rest, reflection, enjoyment, and worship. It dates back to the seventh day of the creation week, when God stopped His work and took time to rest and savor all He had created — setting an example we still follow. On the Sabbath day, we too pause from our work, reflect, and rejuvenate. We put aside the cares of the world so we can focus on our relationships and spend time together. Sabbath rest and worship give us the perfect opportunity to connect with God and with each other.
